Proportion: the defining difference
A HAC and a Birkin of the same number share the same width but differ sharply in height. A Birkin 40 is about 40 × 30 × 21 cm (W×H×D). A HAC 40 keeps the 40 cm width but stands roughly 34–40 cm tall and about 23 cm deep — a far more vertical, architectural silhouette.
